I'm a recent UT Austin grad. Last year I applied to 20+ software engineering jobs, almost all opening with an OA or take-home, and no matter how much I studied, people around me kept outscoring me. The billing questions
worth answering up front.

  • What counts as a session?
    One candidate run. A candidate installs the CLI, works through an assessment in their own agent, and the process telemetry streams back to your dashboard. That's one session against your allowance. Reviewers, hiring managers, and engineers who watch replays don't consume sessions; only candidate runs do, which is why seat count never enters the quote.
  • What happens if I go over my session limit?
    Nothing breaks. Your plan's session allowance is set when we quote you, and past it, per-session overage kicks in at a rate we agree up front rather than one you discover on an invoice. We email you at 80% and 100% of the allowance either way. If you'd rather not think about it, high-volume contracts drop the cap entirely.
  • Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
    Yes. Upgrades prorate immediately; you get the new features the moment you confirm. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date so you keep what you paid for through the cycle.
  • Is there a free trial?
    There's no time-boxed trial. Your first assessment is free, on your own Anthropic key, with no credit card — full session replay and test verification included. Run it on a real candidate, not a toy problem; the data stays in your dashboard whether or not you go further. One is enough to see whether the signal is real, which is the only question a trial has to answer.
  • What's the founding rate, exactly?
    The first twelve design-partner teams lock their rate through 2028. The discount is grandfathered, which is the part that matters: when public pricing is set and then rises, your invoice doesn't move with it. Founding engagements also include white-glove assessment authoring against your own codebase and a direct line to the founder.
  • Do you offer volume discounts?
    Yes — it's the main reason pricing is quoted rather than listed. Per-session cost steps down as monthly volume rises, and how far it steps depends on contract length and payment cadence. Tell us your hiring plan for the year and we'll show you where you land.
  • What do larger contracts include that a starting one doesn't?
    The platform is the same; what scales is everything around it. Unlimited sessions and custom issues, SSO/SAML, ATS integrations, on-prem or VPC-isolated deployment, custom data-retention windows, configurable redaction rules, custom DPA and SLA terms, a dedicated CSM, security questionnaires returned within 5 business days, and a named technical contact for integration work.
  • How does inference billing work?
    Every plan runs on your own Anthropic key right now. You pay Anthropic directly for inference at their rates and Promptster for the platform; we never mark up your tokens or touch your spend. (Pooled inference bundled into the plan price is on the roadmap; today it's bring-your-own-key across the board.)
